What are the parts to the typical home? How complicated can this get? Where do I start?
This site is a learning experience where we will document what it takes to get from a standard home to a smart home, kind of like going from a mud hut to a brick house.
We all know this basic principle by now. This idea was developed in the 1950's and taken full advantage of in the past few decades to complicate our lives needlessly with endless amounts of cheap junk and excessively overpriced objects that we all desire.
So, how do we make our dreams come true? We learn from others, we follow the pack. However that means quite a bit of the time we are led astray and end up down a path that we do not want, and end up with junk we can't use or don't want.
Frameworks, are what we build our lives on. From the time we begin to walk and talk and learn about our environment we build upon what we know. Once we learn to walk we forget what it took to get to that point. True learning is moving forward and forgetting the past. This is what we will try and accomplish with this site., Giving you a logical foundation to build your smart home on.
